Tasting notes
The colour is an intense and deep red. The powerful aroma is rich in fruit particularly blackcurrant and small cherries; then come the notes of toast spice and pepper with a hint of leather finishing this multitude of aromas. The impact of the vanilla is straightforward and spread out in the mouth in opulent waves.

Awards
Silver Medal Decanter World Wine Awards 2006; Bronze Medal Macon 2006; One star in The Guide Hachettes des Vins 2007.

Serving Notes
It is best served between 15-17° C and is a good accompaniment with grilled meats and BBQs.
